Static v dynamic web sites

At the user level, many people browse the web to obtain information, send and receive emails, make purchases, perform banking transactions and travel their books. All these activities are presented in a way that is friendly and understandable. At the technical level, the configuration of web servers, security implementation, administration and design of databases and web programming are complicated in the case of creating a dynamic website. It is the role of a web developer to protect a client from these technical issues and to deliver the user-friendly and effective website that the client requires. Websites are sent over the Internet text data that contain tags. These tags carry invisible messages for browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) that describe the way of presenting the information. Actually, they are not totally invisible, you can see if you see the source in your browser. There are many types of labels, some apply to layout and presentation, and others specify some things about the page itself. This text is called HTML, HyperText Markup Language.

Difference between static and dynamics

With static web pages, page requests are handled by a web server delivering the content of these HTML files, "as is". They are called static because they do not change very often. With a Dynamic website, there is a difference; the requests of the pages are a little more complicated. For each request, the page (the HTML) is built from the information stored in the files (as images), the information stored in databases (textual content) and the logic of programming (both server-side, as well as PHP, Java, ASP, etc and with "Web 2.0" more expensive client - Javascript).
